Don,

I like very much the Contax series II and III, in fact my first ?serious?
pictures I took was with my father?s Contax IIIA, the Zeiss lenses are
amazing, your Biogon performs very well and the color rendition is
wonderful, I had a Sonnar 50mm f 1.5, I was using it on my Leica?s M with an
Amedeo adapter, the color rendition was very likely yours, in B&W it offers
a lower contrast than the M lenses.

The Contax IIIA was a little difficult to focus, the focus path is very
small and the magnification is only 0.66x, the magnification with the Contax
II and III is 0.75, much better. I remember that the 50mm f 2 Sonnar was
also very good on the Contax.

Thanks for sharing these interesting shots, I hope you will do more.

Best!
Lluis
