Peter, on the other hand I have been delighting in picking up new lenses as
I find bargains amongst the unknowing.  For example I just picked up a
relatively clean pre-war 50 Sonnar in chrome/brass for $20 and it came with
a working Contax.  I also found a relative good buy on a 65mm Voightlander
F2 sorta macro lens that is stunningly good with a very flat field; exactly
what I was eying a Zeiss Optus 50mm for but just couldn't justify that
price.

Lenses are for as long as you think they might serve you.
