Peter, while I'd rely on your XE-2 which has an excellent meter, if the 
Weston repair doesn't work out, you could get a Sekonic. I have a L-308S 
and looking at the receipt I see I got it in early 2006. After a long 
period I just put a battery in it to test it and it seems to work. I 
must get back to film when I get time.
