I have a L-308S and looking at the receipt I see I got it in early 2006. After a long period I just put a battery in it to test it and it seems to work. I must get back to film when I get time. Another option is your phone - see https://www.photoworkout.com/best-light-meter-apps/ Accuracy of course is not a given, but they might be useful.
