Greetings to all.  I pass this almost everyday, unlike most plants this one
seems to be dealing with the drought with aplomb:

I was interested in the buds when I saw this visitor:

Grasses seem well suited to dry conditions:

I see this vine in many places, it is able to bridge almost a meter when
looking for new places to climb:
