Greetings to all.  I will start the last of 2022 trees with an image of a
narrow trail down into the unknown; from the known to ?

Austin is very much a mixed forest location so finding a sight line without
leaves is  a bit unusual:

Catching the cottonwood  just as the slanting light was coming through the
clouds:
