Lisbon street artist Mariana Duarte Santos's mural on York Road for the 
Anseo street art festival in Dun Laoghaire shows a crowd of boys waiting 
excitedly in D?n Laoghaire for the arrival of the just retired? 
heavyweight boxing champion of the world, the American boxer Gene 
Tunney, in August 1928. Although a New Yorker, Tunney was a heroic 
figure to a newly independent Ireland as both his parents were Irish 
born from Kiltimagh, Co. Mayo.
