Greetings to all. Still in the pacific northwest walking around in a
national park. I saw this reflection as we crossed into an old growth
portion of the park:

and some old growth:

A very old tree long fallen demonstrates the need for leaving some logs on
the ground:

Sometimes things fall into the rivers flowing from the mountains:

deeper soil allows roots to take a better grasp allowing a long dead tree
to stand for decades:

wind shear can take down trees as well as airplanes leaving a meadow:

All the best.
