Norfolk Southern changed the name to Marsden (once NS president Marsden
Perry) back in the days of telegraph communication. The guys got sick of
spelling it out. I feek their pain

PS: Chocowinity is suppoed to be from native language for the place, meaning
meeting place of the fishes. We are brackish water. I have seen horshoe
crabs and largemouth bass caught in the same spot.
