Thanks Jim and Sonny.  The increased DOF of the 28 vs the 100 does make for 
an interesting comparison.

Just for more perspective on the topic, here is a side-by-side comparison of 
1:1 view in Lightroom of both.

I agree with Jim, but then I favor cropped high Rez to macro.
