In the very center performance of the 560 and 400/6.8 achromats is
quite good, but it falls off rapidly toward the edges. The 500 Canon
has better performance in a number of respects.
That said, the Telyts are bargains now and if you don't like
autofocus are a lot better handling, especially off a tripod.
