shooting I NEVER carry it; it stays in the truck
(another nice thing about using a lunch bag is that it
has a partitioned compartment where you can put a
frozen water bottle to keep your extra film cool and
then drink when you get back).
I hit the streets with the MP around my neck and about
a dozen rolls of film in my pocket: Thank God for
cargo pants!
Now, on the matter of neck straps, I shop the auction
site for old (60's-early 70's) narrow nylon web
straps, without neckpads: I keep the camera cinched up
high, and want the strap to slide around my collar
easily. I never wear it on the shoulder, so sliding
off isn't an issue. I also find these wrap around the
hand better.
