Mine started separating at the edges. It never affected the pictures,
but it didn't look that good.
I had one Kaesemann filter, which never showed any problems. I think
at the time it was introduced it was the only good way to seal the
foil between the glass covers. I also had a couple of Hoya made (sold
under various labels) filters from the 60's that separated, now that
I think about it. Also one Canon.
