The Nikon F cable release does work well with the SM Leicas. And it
is better than the ones Leica used to sell. The Nikko(r)mat cable release
works well with the M's. The collar lock and release ( for the cable )
feature is very nice and makes the difference.
If I remember correctly: AR-1 for SM
AR-2 for M

I think its the same one as for the Nikon F.
One which works and is not amazingly ugly with frayed edges. As my image is
way more important than any image I might create. One which is not super
short but maybe a foot long. With mustard. Or whatever length they come in.
