Indeed, IMO the gear is excellent for such lighting conditions. Nice portrait and contrat too. I'd be curious to it it in colour, but perhaps you didn't shoot it RAW and had selected BW? BTW: I'm happy to have found one more L1 friend - have you tried other lenses wqith it?
