Just a quick note for anyone able to get to the Art Institute in
Chicago between now and May 12.

There's a superb exhibit in the downstairs photo gallery:

"Far from Home: Photography, Travel, and Inspiration"

I've been wandering through the exhibit over the past few days during
my lunch hours. It's sort of a "greatest hits" of photography with an
emphasis on travel -- but with the added bonus (to me, at least) of
seeing eight or so prints from Frank's 'The Americans.'

It's a small exhibit -- just the front gallery, not the side rooms --
but worth the trip if you're in or around Chicago.

As an added bonus, admission to the museum is free for the next
several days -- until Feb 21.
