60th Anniversary. Caught the first ferry in the morning from Vancouver
Island (7:00 AM --- dark, dark) and decided to try a few shots. Leica
M6/Nocti/35 Summicron.
Traffic early in the morning, especially mid week is usually very light.
Today was no exception.

Morning traffic includes the "little" interisland ferries as well as tugs
towing their barges.

Nearing the halfway mark the passengers are starting to get restless. Time
to watch the scenery that toursits pay big bucks to see.

Passing through Active Pass our ship (Spirit of Vancouver Island) passes
her sistership the Spirit of British Columbia. Each holds nearly 470
vehicles and up to several thousand passengers.
