The adapter ha the focusing cam, not helical. You transfer the setting on 
focus your lens manually using the normal helical.
Why would you need to have separate exposure meter? If your lens has normal 
aperture ring, it?s manual anyway - if not, you have to use whatever 
aperture it gives - but you can adjust exposure with shutter speeds.
