There's no way anybody can call the M7 or the MP
designer cameras. They are in my opinion the best
Leicas ever made and therefore among the finest
photo-making tools ever.

How many of you have used either long enough to
discover that truth?

What is astonishing to me is how such numbers of
previously professed Leica users are rushing like
fools towards the alleged pleasures of digital
masturbation, like a bunch of 12-year-old schooboys.

And wasn't it here that we've read for years about how
nobody likes red dots, wants black paint or vulcanite
or fewer framelines or less plastic or the old classy
engraving? So here you got it with "a la carte," as
the icing on the cakes of two wonderful M cameras, and
now there's nothing but sneering here about "designer
cameras" ?

So keep pushing and pulling on the sticky knobs and
buttons attached to those battery-swallowing LCD
screens. Just don't go crying when Leica withers for
no good reason other than the need of so many to wank
around with the latest mod con.
