remove the lens board, drop a plant into the opening, and respond with,
"What camera, Dearest? This is a new planter I picked up for you." :-)
I sense a book coming on....

One I've used was, "no it's a new hood". My wife is an actual pro,
thank God the lenses are relatively similar looking, from a distance
that is. The 4x5 didn't blend is that well, but looks nice in the
corner next to the plants.

Yeah, the trick is to leave all sorts of cameras and lenses all over the
house. Then when a new one arrives, it becomes part of the jumble. . .
to her eyes.
