Subject: [Leica] For the Very Rich and Exquisitly Stupid

Well, as a dealer I can tell you some pretty funny stories, though I can't
breach any confidences, but just imagine how many men (most of my clients
are male, as you already know) call me up and whisper lines into the
receiver that would make most significant others think their mates were
having some kind of clandestine rendezvous! You wouldn't believe the things
I hear! Sometimes I feel like a bookie! Or more to the point, an accomplice!

My favorite line is 'Don't ship to arrive on Thursday. That's her day off.'
;-)

Luckily, to a non-photographer, all black M lenses look the same. "Is that
a new lens?". "No, I've just given it a clean."

Yeah, the trick is to leave all sorts of cameras and lenses all over the
house. Then when a new one arrives, it becomes part of the jumble. . . to
her eyes.
