I don't know that I agree with that, but I certainly agree you would get no
benefit from it, except perhaps bokeh rendering.  As you say, the sensor is
the resolution limiting factor here.  As far as I know, Hasselblad doesn't
need to dumb down their lenses for any of the digital backs that work with
them.
