Whether you live in a place that celebrates the day or not, it is always
nice to look around and be thankful for those who love you.

We went up to the hills a few days ago to get our Christmas tree.? We
usually go the day after Thanksgiving, for our Black Friday shopping
excursion.? $5 for the permit and a saw is all you need.? Well, you also
need good knees.? We went early because snow was predicted for yesterday
and the next few days up the pass and with our knees the way they are
this year we did not want to hike around and not be able to see the
obstacles under foot like branches, holes and stumps.? So, while there
was no snow to make things beautiful, we did find an unusual tree.? So,
it was a success and we all survived.

? ? Note the two trunks that branch off one at the base.? Now we need
to find a second topper.

? ?? Loaded and ready for the trip home.

Best to all.

Aram and Margie.
