I speciallly like read the books of Willy Ronis, he was specially concerned if the people looking at his work see on the picture the same content as the one he wanted to capture when he has decided to shoot smething. Ronis was in my opinion a very honest person, he was using a lot of years a Rolleiflex but his friends Cartier-Bresson, Ren? Burri and others recommended him the 24x36mm format with Leica, however as far as I know he has never bought a Leica, he said that it was too expensive, instead he had three Foca using mainly three lenses 28-50-135. His manner to observe the World is a view without the prejudice of seeking anything specific, relying heavily on luck. His book ?Sur le fil du hasard? (On the Thread of Hasard) is wonderful to read, and I modestly tell you that I believe I have learned a lot from him and that it has had a great influence on my work.
