First up is a tree in my backyard when the clouds were interesting: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/rain+clouds+bare+branches.jpg.html This one's light/dark balance reminds me of a letter that Renoir wrote concerning painting in the open: his paintings looked too dark when seen in the interior but looked great in the sunlight. On this one the subtly seen green seemed to make sense on this one: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/new+leaves+for+one.jpg.html Just a typical scene on the many trails along the Colorado River. If this was California it would be a severe fire hazard but the dew/rain along the river keeps things damp enough most of the time. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/forest+scene+along+the+Texas+Colorado+river.jpg.html All the best. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
