(You may find that you want to reduce the size of the screen image in your browser to see these.) The entrance to it can only be described as "monumental". It reminds me of something Egyptian in its scale, almost Mycenean in its structure: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/PeterDzwig/PESO2011/Theatre_des_Taillades_Entrance.jpg.html> This is the interior of the Theatre. The building at the top of the quarry is the village church (see below). The back wall must be fully 50 metres high: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/PeterDzwig/PESO2011/Theatre_des_Taillades.jpg.html> We are lucky enough to be going to a concert given by world-famous Welsh counter-tenor Iestyn Davies, at the end of the month. I'm really looking forward to it, it should be fantastic! The acoustics are renowned. The church: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/PeterDzwig/PESO2011/Church_Les_Taillades.jpg.html> Thanks for looking and as ever your C&Cs are much appreciated. Peter -- Dr. Peter Dzwig
