Some of the information available says that this Leica film is superpanchromatic and 50 ISO. We know that Ilford do not rebrand their own films, but that they do manufacture film for other companies/marketers (check where current Agfa APX 100 and 400, or Fuji Neopan Acros II are made). But that would mean that it is completely new. Agfa-Gaevert in Belgium (different company to Agfa Leverkusen in Germany which closed in 2005, always was) makes Agfa Aviphot Pan 80 and it could be that. But the film that best meets the criteria is Adox HR-50: this is Aviphot 80 modified to enhance its utility for photographic use by Adox, whose CEO is Mirko B?ddecker. HR-50 is different enough in use that it may as well be a different film to Aviphot 80.
