I think the Q and Q2 could preview DOF in AF mode by half pressing down the shutter release if I remember from my Q2." because that is what I just read on the Leica Forum, but then I went and grabbed my Q3 and put it in AF mode, pointed it at me and pressed the shutter half down and behold.....? Stop down DOF preview.? So, at least with the latest firmware installed, when you press the shutter release half way the lens does stop down in AF mode.
