This is a city with some old trees laden with Spanish Moss. All of our Louisiana members should feel right at home. First is a rather large tree sitting amidst the old slave quarters of Middleton Plantation: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/Live+oak+and+spanish+moss.jpg.html A few hundred years younger this tree was growing in the median of a street: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/median+tree.jpg.html Juxtaposition from an early morning walk: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/Palm+tree+and+steeple+at+dawn.jpg.html A live oak limb over a pond: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/Spanish+moss+coastal+sky.jpg.html All the best. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
