The sky does not have to be very obvious or intrusive to work wonders - and I find it works better in architecture photographs than other subjects. Like HDR, it is a definite case where less is more, where all we need is some detail in an otherwise empty and flat negative space. Here are a few that I added a bit of sky to, as examples of the way I use sky replacement.
