Subject: [Leica] PAW, or PESO?

Hi Don!  Good to hear from you.  I'm using the Gitzo GT5543XLS for when I 
need a tall tripod.  I don't think I've used the 600 + TC with a smaller 
tripod yet, but as long as I don't extend the tripod too high the smaller 
ones are fine with the 600 by itself.  I use the tripods mostly to keep the 
camera on target and to reduce muscle fatigue, the camera's stabilization 
system does the steadiness work.

I'm using a Gitzo 1548 when I get out to 800 what on earth are you using?
