I have been visiting both my vine and a neighbor's fence line with a variety of old lenses. The first one is with a very early Zeiss Biogon adapted to mirrorless: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/Trumpet+Vine+Zeiss+35+Biogon+early.jpg.html This next one is from an early Canon FD 35mm concave front element: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/Trumpet+vine+Canon+35mm+concave.jpg.html I haven't used this much but a non AI Nikkor 105: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/Trumpet+vine+105+Nikkor.jpg.html Back to the early Biogon on a neighbor"s fence line: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/Trumpet+vine+35+Biogon+early+II.jpg.html I will say that the Topaz AI can find detail when I have moved slightly at minimum focus. All the best. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
