I think a cropped version would look nice, but a B&W version would be a lot less powerful; the American flag would not be as prominent, and I like how the red barns stand out against the basically monochrome snow and sky. It has a feeling of classic Leica photography. Excellent. Can I make a suggestion? I wonder whether cropping a little off the top (somewhere between 1/4 and 1/3?) would enhance the feeling of the horizontal massing of the buildings and would probably enhance the prominent position of the US flag. I wonder what a cropped, B&W version might look like too.
