Subject: [Leica] Tuesday Trees

Greetings to all.  This week is all over Austin.  The first two were taken
while waiting in line for admission:

In east Austin there is a monument "French Legation" that began when Texas
was a country.  When Texas became a state the Legate was recalled and the
land was sold to an African-American family who did much good for the
community including selling land to freedmen.  This oak may date to that
time:

After the power outages due to trees becoming horizontal the cities energy
department got busy trimming trees:
