lluis,

I like the idea, but think like so many others that a rigid board would 
have done.

When I went through a phase of taking shots like this I too used 
background board which you can pick up from any artist's suppliers or 
even some framing shops sell them.

Looking at some of Weston's photos I notice that in quite a few he has 
different texturesnin the foreground from the back.

I really like the sharpness and the peppers' shapes and tonality.
