This makes me feel old too?but we had a good time. In the middle of the week I had to make a quick trip to Brussels to take part in an event in the European Parliament, which was enjoyable and interesting too, not least because it gave me the opportunity to re-visit some of my favourite places in Brussels for the first time this year.
