Doug & Nathan-

as with most of the US, passenger travel is most ly dead. Freight traffic
has become an entirely different animal than the one which drove us across
the continent. Luckily many of its buildings have had enough charm in sat in
corporate rms long enough to get preserved. most become civic building for
city offices of community meeting places or local history museums.

Currently this area is served only by a freight shortline. Which I did not
succeed in seeing running during my visit.
