Sunday was their last day, and since they love the mountains, I drove them up to the Puerto de la Carrasqueta mountain pass, one of my cycling destinations from time to time. Driving up there had the advantage that I could bring a greater range of camera equipment with me compared to the small GM5 outfit when I cycle. About 6 km before reaching the pass there is a roadside bar/restaurant called Venta Teresa, with a homemade rest area across the road. It is very popular with motorcyclists on weekends?they have fun on the twisty mountain roads and meet at Venta Teresa before and after their runs. I always stop there too when cycling, and so this time we stopped for a coffee as well and I was able to take more photos than I normally do here.
