Subject: [Leica] Tuesday Trees

Greetings to all.  This week I am still on Mt. Rainier enjoying the
rainforest below.  This first image is seemingly a family of trees.

Many of the trees are amazingly rot resistant:

Austin is a pretty dry place most of the year, the almost constant fog,
rain, and mist was lovely:

The piney woods of the SE United States don't do justice to the gloom in
the understory of the pacific forests:

When fully mature not much grows under the climax forest:
