Having been born in a Communist country where shortages and queues were part of daily life (albeit not for a young child), I have a deep aversion to queues. I will wait when I have no choice, for example at some government office to take care of some official business. But when it is something completely discretionary like a restaurant then never. I just move on. The last one brought a smile to my face.
