I confirm Philippe?s recollection. I used my Leica R lenses on a Canon body 
with an adapter.
This was many moons ago. And I recall that as you closed the lens down the 
exposure
became less and less accurate.

I don?t know much about this but my recollection is that Canon have exposure 
issues when using ? legacy ? lenses.
Bewar and double-check before buying any adaptor that might eventually prove 
useless.
