Subject: [Leica] Help adapting a Leica lens 90mm SM Summicron Leica M adapted

My understanding is that if it was factory then there will be a small grub
screw that will have to be removed.  It might not be factory so....
Acquire a sacrificial M rear lens cap to use for leverage.  Acquire some
solvent suitable for cutting lacquer and possibly some Kroil.  Kroil is a
very efficient penetrating oil.  Using a small dropper or ear bud apply
your solvent carefully around the outside edge and wait a fairly good
while.  Attempt to move the adapter with the rear cap.  If no movement then
repeat.  Patience is a definat virtue.
