Subject: [Leica] How do folks manage catalogs in Lightroom?

I?m wondering about how Lightroom users here manage catalogs.

Is it 1) one catalog for everything
      2) a catalog a year
      3) something else?

Even with the ?new/improved/faster? Lightroom my large catalog is getting a 
bit unwieldy. But I find I browse past photos looking for a particular 
image. Since Tina got me reved up on keywording (thanks for that, Tina) 
being able to look through ALL my photos works well.

Thoughts?
