Subject: Re: [Leica] Pictures taken with Leica M lenses using the official
Fuji M > X adapter
I tried some LTM lenses on my m43 Panasonic. The lenses worked beautifully,
but using an electronic viewfinder for focusing manually and stopping down
manually after focusing reminded me of why I wanted an M8. So I could focus
quickly and easily and not have to stop down manually.
As good as the Fuji XPro and Sony NEX-7 are, they will always be only
partially usable with lens adapters. That said, BD's photos using the Fuji
XPro1 and the Fuji 35/1.4 are enough to get me to liquidate my assets, if
you know what I mean.
I HAVE seen some great shots taken with ContaxG lenses on a mirrorless
digital body. They would be great for shooting landscapes or other immovable
subjects. Wonderful glass.
Regards,
Jeffery
