Subject: [Leica] One year service warranty

Must be a new change.  I bought a used R4sp some years ago and they still 
honored the warranty for it.  Also My R8 was used but they still honored the 
warranty.

Every country has different warranty conditions.....  Leica USA does not
allow the warranty to be transferred to subsequent owners ....
