Hi Tina,
Thanks for the advice - as it happens, I went and bought both of these 
items this morning!
We're hoping that these will make a difference, along with a DAP 
diffuser (Dog Appeasing Pheremone), which helps to calm them down.
We also have earplugs: not that these mad much difference last night!
