[Leica] IMG: Tioga Pass and Foresta

Went on a 17 hour trip to Yosemite Friday as Tioga Pass had just opened a 
couple of weeks ago. As you can imagine, there was water gushing everywhere. 
This is the South Fork of the Toulumne River as where it passes under the 
road:

The Tuolumne River was at it's peak, covering rocks usually high and dry and 
a dull gray:

On the way back we saw the devastation from last September's Foresta Fire 
that started as a controlled burn but got out of control ( 
http://www.goldrushcam.com/2009/mariposa%20news/mariposa_news%20416.htm ). 
It was basically all ash with a few burnt snags. Fortunately the fire moved 
north and left the meadows and houses west of Foresta Road alone. Lupines 
were popping out of the ash; not sure why the fire triggered their bloom:

A super bright day at high altitude didn't allow for many keepers, but 
always beautiful just driving around. The valley floor was beginning to 
choke up with tourists and summer visitors, so not the best time of year to 
go other than to see the gushing falls.
