That's exactly the type of feedback I'm looking for. Sounds like if
there's a difference, it isn't significant. I do like the feel of CV
lenses. But that's an altogether different matter.

If I recall correctly the Nikkor is slightly more even across the 
field; otherwise not much to choose between them.
