I do my scans with a Konica Minolta 5400, and of course they haven't updated
that driver since when?
The scanner driver works fine, running it straight, but I couldn't get the
import plug-in to work so that I could scan from inside Photoshop. This is
PSE 6 and now CS 4, both of which I have to go in and open in Rosetta for
the ScanDual import plug-in to show. Earlier (pre-Intel I guess) versions of
PS have no problem seeing the scanner.

Just in case you might have sorta-kinda wanted to know: Rosetta is a
"just in time" translator that allows programs compiled for PowerPC
cpu's to be run on Intel-based systems. The fact that it's an optional
install on Snow Leopard is a gentle hint (along with Snow Leopard not
being available for PowerPC based systems) that support for the old
PowerPC code-base is going away.
Some folks have been having difficulty with Rosetta causing the
software that runs the windowing software on their machines to die or
freeze requiring a restart. I have not experienced this but I don't
use much PowerPC based software at this point.
I do need to re-calibrate my displays though....
