how true and sadly, it's change for the worst.
The photos are very poignant.
It's the same in the UK. The 'high street' is now the same old chain
stores, albeit with one fewer following the demise of Woolworth's.
I have had in mind to do a project photographing the local businesses
that are surviving in the area in spite of either the recession or the
big players.
I really must get of my backside and get working on it!
